Registration Fees:
Early online registration, age 19 & over, $30 up until Tuesday Mar. 10th. Race Day $35
Early online registration, 18 & under, $10 up until Tuesday Mar. 10th. Race Day $15
42nd Annual commemorative NEEDWOOD SHIRT GUARENTEED TO ALL PRE-REGISTERED RUNNERS if they pre-register. Shirts will be first come first served on race day. Also fun random prizes at award ceremony.
The Annual Forest of Needwood Road Race is the oldest continuous road race in Frederick County. Needwood honors the memory and life of Capt. Jennifer Shafer Odem. Jennifer is Brunswick High graduate and graduate of West Point Military Academy. She gave her life in the service of our country in military assignment in 1999. This race supports a scholarship fund in Jennifer’s name.
The race raises funds to support several scholarships awarded to Brunswick High graduates who have done track and cross country and plan to attend college.

The race is open to all area runners ages 12 and up. It is a Steeplechasers Grand Prix race.
